Social Media Lead
A social media lead will be responsible for creating marketing materials through Canva or other graphic design software for our events and initiatives, this includes posters, stories, and email campaign graphics. Additionally, you will be creating weekly Instagram posts to engage our social media audiences (stories, polls, posters, etc.)
Email Writer
As an email writer, you will be responsible for responding to any frequently asked questions via email every week on Saturday. Any other questions may be escalated to the team leads for a response. Additionally, you will be writing professional emails to promote our email campaigns for events and initiatives.
Website Creator & Editor
You will be responsible for regularly updating our Google Site Website (working with other editors) with any new upcoming events, campaigns, team members, previous events, etc, while keeping in mind our theme and website setup. Experience with building google sites and designing would be an asset for this position.
Event Leaders
Event leaders will be given the opportunity to work together among themselves and other members of TCYV team in order to execute a virtual initiative they would like to see in their community. They will be responsible for attending our weekly meetings to work on the planning and organization process of the event they implement. Assets for this position would be strong communication, creativity, experience in event planning as well as leadership.
Ambassador Representatives
The regional ambassador representatives will be responsible for coordinating and leading a group of The Canadian Youth Vision Ambassadors by holding frequent meetings with them and checking in on their progress. Leadership, coordination, and strong communication skills are an asset for this position.
Become an Ambassador
As an ambassador for The Canadian Youth Vision, you will use your networks to spread awareness about our upcoming Events/Initiatives through social media and email campaigns. You will be assigned a set of tasks to complete (such as emailing 20 people from your network), record that you completed those tasks by taking a screenshot, and then submitting it to a google form to obtain your ambassador certificate.
